Vapour Impermeable Airtight Underlays

Glidevale Protect offers a range of vapour impermeable, or high resistance (type HR), roofing underlays which prevent the diffusion of water travelling the material. These airtight underlays are designed as an alternative option to overcome the disadvantages of traditional 1F felts. To avoid the risk of interstitial condensation forming, additional ventilation will always be required with a HR underlay.
