Protect Membranes in sharp focus at offsite conferences

To demonstrate our commitment as a supplier to the offsite construction market and highlight product suitability for this burgeoning sector, Protect Membranes has recently participated in two industry led offsite conferences.

As key exhibition sponsors at Explore Offsite’s Housing Conference at the NEC and the Modular Building Conference at The University of Salford, we showcased our membrane solutions for floor, wall and roofing construction, including the innovative Protect TF InterFoil which is already delivering dual thermal efficiency and cost saving benefits when used as part of a wall membrane system.

With presentations undertaken by industry experts actively involved in manufacturing offsite, delegates heard about key case study examples of live projects, discussions around capacity, the level of automation in the process and the current appetite for developers to build offsite.

John Mellor, Protect’s Product Manager commented “Our products ideally lend themselves to offsite manufacture, whether this be a timber frame, SIP panel or other forms of construction such as CLT or steel. We were pleased to support these conferences as interest in this sector grows and we are keen to help our customers specify the correct products by offering appropriate technical guidance. This includes our free U-value calculation service as well as condensation risk analysis based on specific wall or roof build-ups.”
