I firstly hope that you and your family have remained safe and well during the last extremely challenging few months. As we begin to get back to business and adapt to a ‘new normal’ way of working, I am writing to share with you our latest news and some exciting changes that we have implemented.
I am pleased to advise that our sales office is now fully operational and our Technical team is on hand to assist customers with their enquiries. Our manufacturing capacity is now at pre-lockdown levels. Following Government guidelines, we have put in place all the necessary actions to provide a Covid free working environment in our factories and offices, to protect our employees, suppliers and visitors.
Over the last few months, a key goal for the organisation has been to bring the Glidevale and Protect brands together as ‘Glidevale Protect’, in order to maximise the many synergies they share and to bring a more focused, solutions based approach to our customers. It will also allow us to better leverage the Glidevale name, which has strong recognition in the market. We are delighted to launch this new consolidated brand to the market on Monday 3 August. To reflect this rebrand, the business has been restructured and two new divisions formed, namely Roofing and Construction, with products being re-categorised as appropriate across the two divisions. Our sales people have returned from furlough and have been reorganised such that they will be responsible for territories in either the Roofing or Construction Division. Each sales person will have the full range of Glidevale and Protect branded products for that division at their disposal, enabling them to offer a complete solution to their customers.
The Roofing Division will be led by Commercial Manager Russ Crane and the Construction Division by Nick Beswick, who, as Group Sales Director, also has overall responsibility for sales.
