Indoor house ventilation

The importance of indoor air quality is becoming increasingly recognised as buildings are built to be more airtight and more energy efficient. Achieving stringent standards set out in Part L means high building fabric standards resulting in a significant reduction in heat loss and fewer gaps for air to escape. Controlled ventilation is therefore essential to remove water vapour and pollutants, and to provide fresh air to the home.
