Introducing Tracey Lunday, Business Development Manager in West Scotland for Glidevale Protect. Read more to find out about what she likes about her role, what she enjoys doing outside work and what she can’t get through the working week without.
Name: Tracey Lunday
Job title: Business Development Manager West Scotland
How long have you worked for Glidevale Protect?
6 years.
What do you most enjoy about the work that you do?
How every day can be different.
Key productivity hack?
Lists! It’s so satisfying ticking things off as done.
What music do you like listening to?
I have quite an eclectic taste. My Spotify history covers everything from present day, back to the ’50s and most genres.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
The Prime Minister or a West End performer. On reflection I couldn’t imagine anything worse than working in Westminster and my singing voice really doesn’t sound anywhere near as good as I think it sounds in the shower…
Favourite TV show genre?
I can’t help but love trashy American reality TV. Somehow, it’s so relaxing watching (mostly awful) people shout and scream at each other.
What box set are you currently enjoying?
I recently caught up with The Last of Us and really enjoyed it. It seems anything Pedro Pascal touches turns golden.
Ideal dinner party guests (dead or alive)?
The ‘Queer Eye’ hair expert Jonathan Van Ness, actress Moira Rose, designer Joe Rodhe and Dolly Parton.
And what would you have to eat / drink?
Nachos, chicken wings, mac and cheese, and pizza.
I can’t get through the week without…
Irn Bru.
Favourite way to spend the weekend (and who with)?
A perfect weekend would be spent in Walt Disney World but a close second would be in the garden with the family on a sunny day (a rarity in Scotland).
Staycation or exotic holiday?
Exotic holiday – ticking off a destination on my travel bucket list. In between trips though I love visiting Argyle & The Western Isles.
By the beach or poolside?
Neither! Find me in a restaurant or bar eating local cuisine with a cocktail in hand.
Morning person or night owl?
Since welcoming my little boy I’ve sadly been forced into becoming a morning person.
Do you have any pets?
I have an 11 year old black lab called Dexter.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don’t take life too seriously, you don’t always have to say yes and nothing great ever happens after midnight.
