How long have you worked for Glidevale Protect?  Five years in July

Talk us through a typical work day: A normal day can range from taking calls and responding to emails regarding our products and creating the most efficient and cost effective solution, to having meetings with clients regarding specification of products on large projects or on a national scale.

What do you most enjoy about the work that you do?  I enjoy the fact that the market and regulations are always changing, resulting in constantly learning new things and having to take different approaches on a regular basis. As we are always investing in R&D I also like having to learn new product ranges, the solutions they offer and the relevant regulations they are involved with. I also enjoy the interaction with the team both inside and outside of work.

What music do you like listening to?  I’m not massively into music but as a Mancunian I like the Manc classics like Oasis, Stone Roses etc. I did go to see Liam Gallagher at Knebworth last year.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?  Either a footballer or a pilot.

Favourite TV show?  Mad Men.

Favourite film?  Wolf of Wall Street.

Ideal dinner party guests (dead or alive)?  Pep Guardiola, Margot Robbie (Australian actress / producer), Liam Gallagher.

And what would you have to eat / drink?  Steak tartare as a starter, a half lobster and venison steak (rare) for mains and a cheese board after. I’d have a bottle of Barolo red wine with the meal then finish off with an Old Fashioned cocktail.

I can’t get through the week without…:  Going to the pub.

Staycation or exotic holiday?  Exotic holiday. A tour of America would be perfect.

Morning person or night owl?  Night owl

Three people or things you’d take on a desert island?  Beer, a boat and Margot Robbie.
