Contractor’s Day 2019

On the 2nd October, Glidevale and Protect Membranes exhibited at Contractor’s Day at Old Trafford Football Stadium.

This was the first time this smaller-scale event had been held in the North and the second show for the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) who organise these events in partnership with Total Contractor magazine.

The aim of the event was to give roofing and cladding contractors direct access to an array of products and information under one roof. The event had a seminar theatre with a programme of seminars, a Skills Zone and a Technical Hub. The NFRC’s AGM also took place directly after the exhibition.

Glidevale and Protect Membranes displayed their complete portfolio of roofing solutions, including Glidevale’s slate, tile and eaves ventilators along with Protect’s wide range of impermeable and permeable roofing underlays. In addition, Protect VB200, the new self-adhesive air and vapour control layer for flat roofing was launched on the day, ideal for installation into a warm flat deck. The event was a good opportunity for both Glidevale and Protect Membranes to reinforce and promote each brand in the roofing contractor marketplace.
